Annual Meeting, Luncheon & Betty Hill Forum
Friday, June 6, 2025
The Weston League's annual member meeting will be held in the morning and will be followed by a public reception, luncheon, and this year's Betty Hill Forum presentation. The day's activities will take place at The Aspetuck Valley County Club in Weston. More information, including luncheon details and our speaker(s), will be posted as arrangements are finalized.
Politics & Pie: A Conversation with our State Legislators
Late spring/early summer 2025, date/time TBD
More information about this annual League program, a moderated event now in its fourth year, will be announced here as soon as it becomes available.
The event will feature Weston's elected Connecticut General Assembly members who will provide an overview of the legislative session in Hartford. They will share their thoughts on its accomplishments, challenges, and ongoing issues and the public will have an opportunity to share their concerns and ask questions. The program, which will be video recorded, will take place outdoors on the Weston Public Library lawn, weather permitting, or in the Library Community Room.
(FYI, each general assembly regular session is adjourned in June in odd-numbered years and in May, in even-numbered years.)
