Politics & Pie: A Conversation with Our State Legislators
June 21, 2025, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
This League event, now in its fourth year, will feature State Senator Ceci Maher and House member Anne Hughes, Weston's representatives in Hartford. It will take place outdoors on the Weston Public Library lawn, weather permitting, or in the Library Community Room
Politics and Pie, moderated by Carol Baldwin, provides our elected officials an opportunity to present an overview of the latest legislative session and share their thoughts on its accomplishments, challenges, and ongoing issues while providing constituents with an opportunity to ask questions and share their concerns.
As in past years, Georgetown's Old Mill Market & Cafe owner Christina Mattinson will be joining us with sweet and savory hand & full-size pies and beverages for sale at the event.
