Weston’s FY2024-2025 Annual Budget & You

For the first time in several years the Annual Town Meeting (ATBM), held April 24th beginning at 8:00 pm in the WHS auditorium, had a quorum enabling deliberations about the Total Town Budget. Questions and floor voting resulted in a few line items in the Board of Selectmen Operating Budget being lowered and the Board of Education Operating Budget being passed as proposed. The Town & Schools Capital Budget was under discussion when the meeting was adjourned at 11:30 pm as required by Town Charter.

The adjourned ATBM continued on Thursday, April 25th at 8:00pm and deliberations led to reductions in the Capital Budget before the meeting was adjourned to the referendum where voters voted on the three budget totals – as amended, if amended, at the ATBM. Your final opportunity to vote will be at the continuing referendum on Saturday, May 4th at Weston Town Hall from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m.
